Note: AD89 has 0.6" spacing between the pins on the base, and AD520 has 0.3" spacing. This is the only difference. Choose an adapter which fits your programmer socket. Either will work with MQP programmers.

AD687 uses a Clamshell style socket for users who prefer this.

Any programmer capable of programming equivalent DIL version of same device. But see also AD348.
