Third Party Programmers

  1. Select EPROM type Hitachi HN27C256 on programmer.
  2. IMPORTANT: Disable ID checking on programmer to prevent damage to A9 pin on micro. (This device does not have a silicon signature.)
  3. Set Address Range to 0000-1FFF for 6473228, or 0000-3FFF for 6473238. Leave as 0000-7FFF for 6473258.
  4. Insert AD372 in programmer socket as appropriate.
  5. Program as normal for the 27C256.
